360 Rugby Summer Camp 2025 - A Wet, Wild & Wonderful Week

Fun, learning, laughter and a whole lot of rugby magic!

What a week! Our latest 360 Rugby Summer Camp was nothing short of brilliant – full of energy, effort, teamwork and unforgettable moments. And lucky for you, we’ve captured it all in our Summer Camp Photo Gallery – don’t forget to check it out and relive the action!

Day 1 started with glorious sunshine… and ended in a downpour! The heavens opened and soaked us through, but this time we were ready. Learning from our first camp, we’d secured the indoor facilities at Sussex Downs Sports Centre, and we made the most of them! Dodgeball, basketball, and loads of fast-paced, transferable skill games kept the fun (and the learning) going strong. Rain definitely didn’t stop play!

Day 2 was a total hoot – everyone turned up full of beans, bouncing with energy and ready to go. The juniors had an amazing morning crossing rivers, chasing tails, and learning the ropes of dodgeball and handball. We had teams, tactics, hilarious dives, and above all else – stacks and stacks of fun.

Day 3 started a little slower (understandably!) with some rosy cheeks and tired legs, but spirits were still high and everyone cracked on. The juniors enjoyed more of their favourites – dodgeball, handball, and even a game of physical rock-paper-scissors (ask them to show you – it’s a classic!). They wrapped up their day with a full under-8s tag rugby match, playing to proper rules and showing off all they’d learned.

Meanwhile, the older group – the Giants – had a tackle masterclass with Tommy, diving into space-finding drills, ball transition techniques, and body positioning to protect possession. Tommy even shared techniques from his American Football days, and the boys couldn’t get enough of it. They finished their session with an epic game of Ultimate Frisbee – perfect for practicing communication, support play, and finding space on the move.

To cap off the camp, we recognised standout players from each team with a brand-new rugby ball for two important awards: Outstanding Sportsmanship and Most Improved Player. These qualities matter deeply to us – not just on the field, but off it too. Respect, resilience, teamwork, and growth are what 360 Rugby is all about.

We ended the afternoon the only way we know how – with ice creams and a load of laughs. It was an absolute pleasure coaching every single one of our campers, and we can’t wait to do it all again soon.
